Growth

“Growth” is often considered as something that is measurable in terms of material possessions. A Person’s growth is measured by how much of wealth he has accumulated at a certain age. However, I have a different perspective about the word – Growth.

Anyone who possesses large amount of wealth and material possessions may have grown in terms of Money or Finance. In contrary, He may not be intellectually grown up. Intellectual Wealth is what must be measured when a person’s growth is evaluated.

Many a times, a small child, though is very young in terms of experiences of life, may be actually of very high standards in terms of intelligence he or she possesses. That child may be able to reason out more effectively than a highly experienced Man. The Knowledge that you gain is useful only when you are able to utilize the knowledge for the benefit of yourself and others around you. Wealth you accumulate over the years may be yours today but it will not be yours forever. The knowledge and skills that you gain, experiences you get in your life are the ones that will tune you into what you are ought to be in your life.

Growth must be measured not in terms of money, but in terms of knowledge level and ability to utilize the knowledge towards well-being of self and surroundings.
